My Little Rocker

Yesterday I was sitting on the couch with Tay, I was holding Dani's Ipod. Dani walked in the room and started laughing and told me to look at Tay. She was holding one of the head phones in her ear... so I turned some tunes on for her! She was totally jamming out. When the song would stop she would let me know! Then I changed the song to Beyonce's Single Ladies and she started singing the with it.
Here are song pics-

Spectrum 10k

Last Saturday my Dad, Mark and I ran in a 10k. It started up Snow Canyon and ends in the city of Ivins. The first 3 miles are so pretty, the canyon is amazing. Then you come and and finish running through the streets and end at the church. Running in races is so much fun I love it. Mark is always waaaay ahead of us, his long legs kill me!! Dad and I run together, which is so much fun cause he is the one who got me into running. This year was different cause Dad had been sick for days and he was even up the night before the race sick. His thick head was going to run anyway... I felt so bad cause I think he ran just for me. Throughout the whole race he had cramps in his stomach, and could not run and full pace. I stayed with him until mile 5 when he told me to take it in strong. I cant lie I was so excited cause I wanted to pass someone people and make up some time. I sprinted from just past 5 miles to the end... thought I was going to throw up! I came in at 60 minutes, okay but I would have been happier at 57! Mark came in at 44 minutes and Dad came in at 62.

Sprinting towards the end! Mark finishing

Us at mile 3!

Playin' around in St. George

Last week Tay and I went to St. George with my parents. They had to work down there so we tagged along!! The weather was amazing and Tay realized how much fun she can have outside.

At first she was not sure about the grass but soon became fond of picking it..

That soon got boring and we moved on to dirt... Much more fun!

We had been out playing for 40 minutes so I decided to head back to the house... Taylor did not agree with me. Right when we stepped inside she lost it and keep reaching for the handle, so I let her play in the backyard for 20 more minutes. Over the next couple days we had many more adventures and she soon got smart enough to not want to turn around knowing we where headed home. She also got better about crying when it was time to go inside. We are so excited for summer to come and look forward to many days out in the sun.

Thursday Night Fun

Every year our youth is challenged by the Bishopric to do a "Bishops Challenge." In this challenge they have a list of things to do, which include Reading the BOM, memorizing the Articles of Faith and the First Presidency and Apostles and passing them off, reading some talks and scriptures, and going to the temple, sharing your testimony. We have from October to May to complete all this. To help our girls we planned a night of Game Shows, Whitney did a great job with a Game of Jeopardy with the Apostles. Then we did Dont Forget the Lyrics with the Articles of Faith. To end the night we did some Karoke, we had a blast!! It was great to see all of the girls enjoying themselves and getting CRAZY... I truely love my calling, we have amazing girls and great leaders.
